So what have we been up to?

We are currently working on a generic CAN profile for use with the DudeLogger. We have successfully completed testing on Mercedes, Porsche and Mazda. The logger will work on all CAN-based vehicles of which a list will be available as soon as we test them.

Here's a DudeLogger example of a stock Porsche Cayenne Turbo vs. a Cayenne Turbo with German aftermarket tuning software...

Notice the increase in airmass!

From what we've seen so far, that increase in airmass equals about a 60 WHP increase. If you'd like to play with this yourself, please feel free to download DudeLogger and grab the Cayenne data off our forum.

Once the generic CAN logger is complete, we'll move on to doing a manufacturer-specific logger for Porsche and Mercedes. The manufacturer specific loggers will include variables like inividual knock ignition retard per cylinder, oil temperature, throttle butterfly angle, etc.

We have had very little interest in the RX8 tuning products, so we are shifting our focus to what the public is demanding...more DudeLoggers! If you have already purchased a VIN token for your RX8, don't worry...we'll still support you. To everyone that purchased a DudeLogger for the purpose of adding a VIN token, please contact us and we can discuss your options.

Also, if you are a shop interested in doing RX8 reflashing in volume and need a programmer, please feel free to contact us.

What's up with the name change from ProLogger to DudeLogger?
We have been using the ProLogger name that stemmed from the development of the software we used in our fuel control development project (ProTune) a few years ago. The name was more a placeholder and temporary, but market demand pushed the product out way faster than anticipated and the name went along with it. We never looked back and as such never checked the trademark database to see if it was trademarked. We were contacted by the owner of the trademark this week to inform us of the trademark, so we're changing the name to DudeLogger!
